Toshiba 32AV502R 32″ LCD HDTV Review Part 1
My review of the Toshiba 32″ TV for those considering making the purchase. Pros: Good looking TV Solid amount of inputs Great picture and intelligent dynamic light/contrast setting Digital and analog audio outs Simple and useful menu Fast response time and no gaming lag Cons: Speakers are on par for 32 inch TV (read: crap) No picture in picture Verdict: Excellent value at the $350 price point. Great bedroom television.
i have this tv…its great for gaming…my first choice would be a samsung…but the game mode on the toshiba had me sold
I got this on boxing day. Its a great TV. Since I don’t have a cable box, i dont get to watch any HD channels or any channels over the 100s, but it picks up some digital channels (audio only) which satisfies me =)
I was suprised i could catch any digital channel since here in canada we havn’t really made the switch to digital yet, but its all good =)
Its good for both the PS3 and xbox360
is it good 4 gaming like the xbox360
I was a bit iffy about doing it originally. But I couldn’t find a small wood stand that would sit over the box. I’ll see what I can do.

Hey man you shouldn’t block the vents on your cable box – I’ve had a cable box overheat and fail because of this. I know the cable company replaces them free, but you still have to go through the hassle of picking up a new box. Just thought I’d let you know.
Choosing the right HD TV is harder than choosing a wife. I’m going through the same right now. debating over 32′ or 37′; Toshiba or LG or Samsung. My rooms probably smaller than that but really leaning towards 37′ 1080p trying to find a decent one for under $500.

You need to use a HDMI or component cable for your PS3. The one that comes with the PS3 will not do HD.
i have the same tv but my hd doesnt work when i hook it up to ps3

Yea I was looking for a good tv for under 400 its my 1st hdtv and I didnt want a no name brand tv so I went with the toshiba.
Seems the TV is pretty popular. It was the cheapest brand name one I could find at the time. Was too scared to mess with the budget brands.
