VIZIO JV50P 50″ Plasma HDTV Review

VIZIO sounds like a name for a soda pop.
so if you sit within 10 feet you should be able to tell the difference between 720 and 1080. Because i was thinking of getting a full 1080 32″ which is kinda pointless because you shouldn’t be able to tell the difference. But if i sit with 6 feet (which i do) would you be able to tell, i’m not to sure on this.
Remember that Visio is using Panasonic screen technology. I purchased the VIZIO JV50P 50″ Plasma HDTV from Costco just two days ago because of that.

Yes ive seen this one at Costco looks interesting but. Id rather go panasonic 50 plasma 720p. I own two 42 inch 720p version nice for money.

I said the picture quality was excellent not great. I also said that I had seen other TVs with better image quality.
I do agree with you that contrast ratio is not the perfect indicator of image quality. And that the factors that you mentioned are important.

Even then, if I don’t see a problem with something like smooth motion, I will not mention it.
I love the part where he says, “15000 to 1 contrast ratio” so the picture quality is great. Are you serious? Is contrast ratio the only element that renders picture quality? What about color realism, smooth motion, light to dark transition? Oh my god, please don’t make another review…
